The WPC will be here before you know it

imageIf you are a Microsoft partner you should be thinking about the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference.

The WPC is coming up soon. It’s happening this year in Washington, DC on July 13-17. WPC is The Place to Partner.

What to Expect at WPC 2014?

Below are a few things I created for WPC First Time Attendees (FTA’s) and they work just as well for MTA’s --- aka Multiple-Time-Attendees. There is a video that is posted on Microsoft’s Digital WPC site and a few others posts that you might find helpful as you think about, plan and execute on your WPC plans.

A bit more you can expect at WPC 2014

Here are two posts I wrote that should help every partner. One is about what partners can and should expect at WPC and the other is about what partner is all about. There are other posts I have written that can be found on the Microsoft DigitalWPC site, but these are a good starting point.

Where to Find Me

I’ll be speaking in a couple of difference sessions. I’ll be in the IAMCP booth, in the Microsoft Social Hub and in the main hall. Come to my sessions. Find me on WPC Connect. Let’s talk about Partnering!

  • IAMCP - At the IAMCP booth we are looking to bring partners together and to help them work more effectively with Microsoft and with each other. If you aren’t a member yet … you should look to Join Today! It’s never too soon to become a more effective (and successful) partner
  • Microsoft Social Hub – This is a booth in the middle of all the action on the show floor, I’ll be speaking about how to maximize and optimize your Social Profile. There will be other sessions where you’ll hear from different partners on how they have utilized Social Media in their partnering efforts.
  • imageSunday Pre-Day – Before all the FIFA World Cup action heats up there will be a pre-day event for First Time Attendees (FTA’s). Julie Simpson, Jeff Hilton and I will be speaking about how to get the most out of WPC.

Next Steps

Take the time to get registered, sign up for WPC Connect and start setting up meetings. if you want to meet with me please look me up and lets set something up. If you are a System Integrator or ISV that works in the SharePoint and SAP space … we should talk.

See you in DC.
